Group continues second-day meeting
The Public Health
Group of the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) Expert Committee
continues its second-day meeting in Hong Kong.
The Group today
(July 8) met with Department of Health officials and hospital chiefs
to dig deep into the sequence of outbreaks, back in February and
early March when sporadic severe community acquired pneumonia cases
were reported.
Group members
would also be briefed on the notification mechanism with the Mainland
and exchange of information with the World Health Organisation.
